"La Maison Rose, The Pink House" was code name for a place in Paris called "L'Amour".
What began as an artistic residency evolved into a secret safe home for young refugees.
Despite limited resources, The Maison Rose project thrived, housing over 120 boys facing homelessness over a year and across two locations.
We provided essential needs such as meals, clothing, and a wide range of educational and recreational activities, even rap classes!
Our collaboration with La Timmy was crucial, as they assisted residents with their legal documentation and procedures.
We extend our deepest gratitude to them and the amazing boys who stayed with us!
You too can house a young refugee for any amount of time.
In Paris, contact @timmy_association for more information. If you're elsewhere, research local options. You will not regret it.

The success of this initiative was a result of collaboration among numerous incredible friends, compassionate citizens, and dedicated volunteers.
Special recognition is owed to residents Celine Fantino, Lea Courtois, Max, Cyprien Delahousse, Vincent, Jacques, Nicolas, Mohan, Nina and above all Esperance and La Timmy.
A heartfelt thanks to all the incredible teachers, activity leaders, volunteers and cooks who so kindly gave us their time and energy.
